Lunch and Learn Event Summary: ‘HPE & Juniper Networks Acquisition: What it means for your organisation

Yesterday we hosted our customers in Central London for our lunch and learn event: ‘HPE & Juniper Networks Acquisition: What it means for your organisation’.

The recent acquisition marks a pivotal chapter for Kubus, our customers and HPE and Juniper Networks. In partnership with Juniper Networks, we wanted to ensure our customers had all the information on the technology opportunities the acquisition could bring and how Kubus can continue to enhance and optimise our customers technology requirements.

Throughout the afternoon session, we provided our customers with clarity on the transition, the possibilities the acquisition will bring and guidance on any questions around potential impact to our customers IT landscape.

We had an exciting opportunity to hear from our Solutions Architect Brian Gallagher, who showcased a deep-dive demonstration into Juniper Networks’ innovative Ai-Native solution, MIST. With this technology being a key driver for the acquisition it was important to explore the unique advantages and benefits of this solution with our customers. During the demonstration we covered the capabilities of covering End-to-end visibility, Controllerless management and Centralised data path.

Joining Brian was our Head of Enterprise Sales Archie Doyle and Account Manager Luke Armitage who were joined by our guests Mike Gibson, Director, UK&I Enterprise at Juniper Networks, and Pedro Cunha, Distribution Business Lead at HPE.

Together, Mike and Pedro gave an insightful session into the latest updates from the acquisition, covering the benefits of the combined partnership. Juniper and Aruba will now be known as HPE Networking, an industry leader with a modern, secure, AI Native networking portfolio.

Recognised as a Gartner Leader on Wired/Wireless and Data Centre Networking, HPE Networking are now #1 and #2 in Campus & Branch in the industry, because of the combined partnership uniting Juniper and Aruba technologies.

With a strategy plan to encompass key pillars of Campus & Branch, Wide Area Networking (WAN), Data Centre, Security and SASE, the acquisition will provide customers with a full suite of solutions available to remedy pain points and simplify operations, all under one vendor.

Current solutions will continue running alongside each other for the foreseeable future, so customers using Juniper MIST and Aruba Central can expect the same continued level of support and licensing for the duration of their contract term, with changes honoured for the lifetime of their products.

Customers will also benefit from access to HPE’s intuitive Greenlake platform, which will enable the operation of business-vital elements like servers, storage, and networks – without the need for upfront capital investments.

We had a fantastic afternoon with our partners and customers, listening to the meaningful conversations from around the table and hearing about our customers challenges and their excitement for the future.
